Estonian diplomatic and ordinary passport holders are exempted from Turkish visa for their travels up to 90 days within 6 months starting from the first entry day. Within the period of 90 days, they shall be allowed to enter, leave and pass multiple times the territory of the Republic of Turkey and stay there.

Estonian alien’s passport holders (grey passports) : In accordance with the new Law on Foreigners, the practice of obtaining visas upon arrival to points of entry to Turkey (“sticker”- and “stamp-type” visas) will begin to come to an end as of 11 April 2014. The residents of Estonia who hold "Aliens's Passport", as they will not be able to obtain visas upon arrival anymore at the points of entry to Turkey, can obtain their visas via the new Electronic Visa Application System (www.evisa.gov.tr).

This system allows intending visitors to obtain their e-Visas in approximately three minutes online. Applicants just need to log on to www.evisa.gov.tr, provide the requested information, (after the application is approved) make online payment and download their e-Visa. A minimum 6-month-valid passport, flight (or any other possible means of transportation) reservation and a credit card (Master or Visa) are needed for e-visa applications. E-visa is only valid when the purpose of travel is tourism or commerce. Other purposes, such as work and study, require regular visa given by Embassies or Consulates.

Online multiple entry electronic visa can be obtained up to 90 days for a visa fee of 20 US Dollars, on the condition that the total stay in Turkey would not exceed 90 days within 180 days.

Visas may also be received at the Turkish Embassy in person by submitting the following documents:

– filled in visa application form;

– 1 photograph;

– passport (valid for at least 90 days after the last day of stay in Turkey) and a copy of the personal data page of the passport;

– round-trip flight ticket in English;

– proof of hotel reservation in English. Visa processing fee at the Embassy is 60 euros.
